Wirral Animal Welfare Association has been established for over 30 years and has rescued and re-homed hundreds of animals. We provide cover on a 24 hour basis to respond to calls for the rescue of animals.

We undertake vet checks and pay for any required care so that every animal has the best chance of a happy, healthy life. We undertake strict home visits in every case of adoption and request an adoption fee so that we can continue to rescue other animals. As you will appreciate, we need to cover our outlay to be able to attend to all animals passing through our caring hands.

We run on a purely voluntary basis with a team who collect animals, undertake vet visits, place animals for adoption, foster and sponsor animals and fund raise.

We welcome all donations, big or small, all pennies count towards looking after all the animals we rescue.
